UNITED Screening at
NY Film & Video Festival

Its been six months since TXL Films released their emotionally charged human rights music video, UNITED, and already it has been accepted into seven film festivals, including the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF)the largest film festival in the world.
Founded in 1993, NYIIFVF has been recognized by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the festival calendar. Each festival showcases over 300 films from around the world, including world premieres, features, shorts, documentaries and animations. This year, TXL Films UNITED is being featured as one of the top festival highlights.
UNITED tells the story of an inner-city kid who has to fight for his right to play basketball. It was filmed over eight months in 14 countriesin fact, the filmmakers completely circumnavigated the globe through the course of production. The film includes cameo performances by Isaac Hayes (South Park), Erika Christensen (Traffic, Upside of Anger), Jenna Elfman (EdTV, Keeping the Faith), Catherine Bell (JAG), and Lynsey Bartilson (Grounded for Life).
